Welcome back as we full throttle into MCA! And what better way to do it than with a couple of hard-riding bike tests on our latest fleet of motorcycles.
On the cool customs front we take on Harley-Davidson’s Roadking Classic, scraping the chrome floorboards as the massive beast constantly gave in to our unreasonable cornering demands. The FLHRC was truly majestic and handled all we could throw at it with ease. We also open the hanger doors to reveal MV Agusta’s newest F4, the 320km/hr motorcycle that is slated to outrun a Boeing 747 at takeoff speeds. On the street nothing beats the Triumph Street Triple as we take it out for a spin and with BMW getting more GS-friendly, the new F650GS is going to make street riding and touring more fun than ever. High fuel prices have also become a major issue lately and we evaluate the low fuel consumption prowess of Honda’s CBF150, eventually squeezing an impressive mileage range out of the fuel camel.
On the touring end we take a first visit to Port Dickson’s Bike Fest at Eagle Ranch Resort on route with the R.A.T. crew from Triumph Singapore for some fun in the sun and then to Hatyai Thailand for their annual bike week festivities. Our MCA team also ventured deep into Borneo to bring you on a unique off-road biking adventure on two-wheels. We feature top upcoming international motor show Intermot and all the fun you can expect when you visit Germany for this event. Not to mention a sneak look at NBW, Singapore’s new National Bikers Weekend at the Singapore Flyer come November. Don’t miss it!
